I'd like to have more control as an adminstrator over what shows in the Email digests that are sently weekly. For example, I'd like to see more detail on the blog posts that show. This will help to drive traffic to those posts if more information is shown. Thanks!

We request that the UpdateSocialObject API have added functionality to assign an SO a category, and also that the GetSocialObject(s) return categories as well. Also I believe the XSLT function iPageInformation:ShowXML($whatever,'whatever') would also need to be updated to return categories.

I see there is a Create Event API, but it looks like it works only for users, not social spaces, as one of the parameters is sysuserid={UserID}.
We request the API be expanded to be able to add events to social objects, perhaps as another parameter, with UserID as the owner of the SO, and SOID as the param ID of the object that is parent to the new event.

I noticed that the admin panel records the last known IP address of users, but when I use the show XML button (<xsl:value-of select="iPageInformation:ShowXML($oUser,'User Base')" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>) there does not seem to be a record in that XPath.
it would help us if the IP could be recorded in a format retrievable via XML

I'd love to be able to post our Brightcove video player into topics like the YouTube player.
Just want that for me as admin, not for all users.

Currently the email notifcation being send when a group has a new comment, inline or otherwise i believe, says something like:
New Comment
System , You have a new comments for your Team.
<<INSERT COMMENT HERE>>
but doesn't say who posted the comment, forcing the user to go to the page in order to find that out. We request the originator of the comment be included in the email.

Hi there -
I was told by the Support team that Administrators no longer have the ability to remove a post -- I find this a little unnerving and hope that this function will be restored ASAP.

Events created by an SO admin and sent out do not specify from which group they are being sent. For an example, a Coach could created a practice event and send to all members of the Team, but the members receiving the invite do not know which Team it is from until they log in and check the event page, causing confusion for users who are on more than one Team.
So, could the originating Team/League/Group be included in the Event invite in a future update?

Our users are loving the new calendar and events system, however there is one feature some are requesting. A lot of users need to check their schedule on the go, so the ability to download the List view of the calendar into a CSV file for use in excel or mobile apps would really help them out.

Would it be possible for members to save a Discussion board post as a draft?
Thanks! ~Jessica
This admin dashboard for maintaing a list of banned IPs, only lists individual IPs.
/admin/app/remoteip/managebannedips.aspx
It would be much more affective to also support and allow CIDR notation for ranges of IPs to be blocked.

Our community sorely misses being able to put [img] files on their Discussions. Can we please get that back?
While the admin panel for a site has a Banned IP panel:
/admin/app/remoteip/managebannedips.aspx
and the remote commenting API includes a field on comment create to include the IP Address of the commentor.
The getComment API call doe not return the IP Address of the commentor, nor does there appear to be any place to see the IP Address associated with a comment.
This lack of storing and displaying the IP Address seems to severely limit the usefulness of a Banned IP list.
A few clients have asked for the ability for users to remove themselves from the community. Since this is an admin only function one solution is to include a link on the user's settings page to send a request to deactivate account. This link would notify administrators that the user wishes to be removed from the community. Please lend support via comments if you would like to see this feature as well.
Thanks,
Kevin
It would be great to offer the preview option again. It's very helpful to preview blog posts prior to publishing.
