Polling will allow administrators to create, manage and publish polls for users to vote on. Polls will be available at the community level and within Social Spaces. End users will not be able to create polls unless granted permission by the administrator.

Best Practices
When polling is activated in your site we recommend using the new Featured Polls widget on your community home page to get high user visibility for polls.
If you will use polling very heavily you might consider adding a link in your community navigation to the new Polls landing page, however we only recommend this for those clients who will very regularly publish new polls so this page remains active.
When a new poll is created, in addition to the activity feed you should publish an update in a highly trafficked area of your site. Whether you post within a discussion or a frequently read blog in the community, the more exposure the poll gets the better your results will be.
Polls should be set to expire within a reasonable timeframe (2-3 weeks). The goal should be to give users enough time to vote, while not stretching the voting so long that users lose interest in the results.
