The remote commenting api returns comments for a banned and delete user... why?
    By gadgeteer
    The API endpoint at:

    http://services.theport.com/ws/developerAPI/CommentingService.asmx/GetItemComments

is returning comments for a banned and deleted user.

our site is my.stltoday.com, the xref id for the remote object being commented on is 27d477f0-3c90-11e1-8173-001a4bcf6878 and the offending comment's uuid is f1ff97f6-4644-4f72-a361-2b1dabf3a3a1 ...

Why am I seeing a comment for a banned and deleted user being returned? what's wrong?

This user was deleted on 1-12 at about 3:14pm. It made 4 comments on a remote article, 3 of which were made before the deletion. The 4th comment was submitted shortly after the user was deleted, so the deletion must have not completely taken effect by then. The user should not be able to post any more comments. The user deletion set the first 3 comments to deleted. I have manually set the 4th comment to deleted which will prevent it from showing in the API return.

so this issue would be considered a bug, and not something we're doing wrong at our end?
